Call for participants to the UNFCCC Talks in Bonn 02-06 August PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 16 June 2010

Dear friends,

The Federation of Young European Greens (FYEG) is announcing a call for participants to the United Nations Climate Change Talks in Bonn from the 2nd until the 6th August.

The forthcoming talks are part of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. There will be two separate discussions.

  • Thirteenth session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Further Commitments for Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol (AWG-KP 13)
  • Eleventh session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA 11)

FYEG hopes to follow the talks in detail and provide a Young Green perspective to the world via our blog, newsletter, EcoSprinter online magazine, press releases and other communication channels.

Unfortunately it’s very unlikely we’ll be able to financially contribute at all, so delegates will have to fundraise themselves. Despite this, we encourage you to apply as it would be a missed opportunity if we can find some financial assistance. There will be no obligation to attend if we cannot find funding.

Considering the above, if you would like to be a delegate, please send me the following details:

Name:  [Title (Ms/Mrs/Mr) First name, Last name]
Position:
Organization:
Address:
Telephone:
E-mail:

Deadline for applications: 21st June, no later than 23:00 CET

Regards,

Sebastian Power
Spokesperson of FYEG
