Michael is engaged with Politics ever since he was 15. First in the Civil Society and later with the German Young Greens. He has a Bachelor in International Relations and a Master in Globalisation and Development from SOAS. and worked i.a with the United Nations. Topics like Tax Justice and Youth Emancipation Global Justice keep him going and exited to mobilise people for. It is important for him to bridge the gap to the movements and the cultural scen and embedd FYEG in the European spirit of change.

Krassina a person who loves to work in a team, motivate people and encourage a dialogue between them. Graduated International Relations, she is interested in the field of strengthening European democracy with citizens' participation. Particularly working on the promotion of the European citizens' initiative and the idea for a New Convention in the EU.

Dragana has a bachelor of law and she is currently doing her master in International public law. She is a queer feminist activists engaged in several feminist and LGBTQ movements. She is currently working as a law program assistant in Coalition "Sexual and health rights of marginalized communities", organization dealing with the rights of LGBT people, drug users, sex workers and people leaving with HIV/AIDS. Her more specific topics are human rights law, feminism and LGBTQ rights.
She enjoys protesting, going in gay bars, talking against the (Orthodox) Church, bothering people with Judith Butler, reading Andrea Dworkin and smoking and drinking.

Currently free lancing in Teaching, Writing and Reporting and finalizing his master thesis. Living in Luxembourg, Phil was for a long time spokesperson of Luxembourg Young Greens and is involved in the Green Movement around Europe. Well connected in the human rights NGOs and the struggle against Nuclear Power, Phil dedicates lots of his personal energy Anti-Nuclear campaigner, writer and trainer. In his free time, Phil is has a soft spot for vintage Italian road bicycles, cats and cinema and spending lots of time with his loved ones.

Maggie finished business academy and graduated from international relations. She has been member of the FYEG EC for 3 mandates (2010-2013), then became Secretary General. Maggie is also Board member of the European Youth Forum.

The Secretary General of FYEG is formally not member of it, but participates in the EC meetings as support and advisor. The tasks of the Sec-Gen further include:

  • The daily management of the FYEG office
  • The financial management, the fund-raising, organisation and implementation of FYEG's Activity plan
  • The maintaining of good contacts with FYEG's partner organisations and MOs
  • The monitoring of key political events and policy developments on the European level, in
  • order to serve as a resource for FYEG's political work
  • The handling of FYEG's bank accounts, all payments and the payments' documentation
  • together with the office
  • The writing of annual reports to FYEG's financial partners, together with the treasurer.
  • If mandated by the EC the Sec-Gen can also:
  • Take part in meetings and represent FYEG and its position, according to a clear and limited
  • mandate given by the EC

Shenna graduated with a MSc on Human Ecology in Vrije Universiteit Brussels and BA Development Studies in UP Manila. Coming from the Global South, she is an activist fighting for climate justice, renewable sources of energy, human rights, grassroots movement building and food sovereignty.

The project assistant of FYEG is not formally a member of the EC, but has the following roles:

  • Assists in daily management of the FYEG office and general administration  
  • The development, organization and implementation of FYEG’s campaigns and projects, such as seminars, conferences, exchanges, Executive Committee and Working groups meeting  and General Assemblies
  • Assists in the entire project management of FYEG's educational activities: project application, advisor to prepteams in the preparation and actual implementation of events, reporting to the funders
  • Assists Treasurer and Secretary General in financial management and accountancy
  • Liaise with the office/EC and external organisations/institutions on administrative and informative requests
