Call for FYEG Alumni

Dear Alumna, dear Alumnus, a few years ago or until recently, you were involved in the young green movement as well as in FYEG. No matter your level of participation or commitment, you felt being part of this European platform, being a FYEGer!

Perhaps, now with your experience, you feel the need to have a space to meet other Green persons with a different sense of being European; perhaps, however old you will be, you want to promote the utility of an independent and autonomous political youth wing; perhaps you would be available in case FYEG need some help for its development and activities.

If you share our views, you are more than welcome to join us in Brussels, where we will organise a first formal meeting to set up the FYEG Alumni Network. In order to accommodate everyone and to get as many of you from the whole continent, we invite you to give your preferences for a Saturday in April 2012 via this doodle: http://www.doodle.com/ihie4fmcnrcsspph – Deadline to participate 26 February 2012.

To be able to participate in this meeting and thus becoming member of this network of alumni, you must:

Be 30 years old and/or not anymore young greens (depending on the national age limit)
Not involved in FYEG
Having been involved in FYEG (no matter the level of commitment and activity) OR felt as FYEGer
Still Green! (not necessarily a party member)
Supporting the purposes of FYEG

By the end of this month you will receive a final invitation with the date of our meeting, a provisional agenda and other practical information. By holding this meeting in Brussels we are creating financial inequalities and since we do not wish to be a burden for FYEG, we will organise a solidarity contribution system.
