Call for FYEG and Greens/EFA intern
The Federation of Young European Greens is looking for an intern to support FYEG and the Greens/EFA group in the European Parliament in their work. The internship is full time with flexible working hours.

FYEG is a dynamic, inclusive organisation that unites young Green activists, Green youth movements and political organisations from all over Europe. It advocates and campaigns for political change and serves as a platform for exchange of ideas and knowledge among young green activists. It is an influential lobby group in the European Union with perspectives stretching beyond Europe.
This full-time internship is foreseen for a period of 5 months from mid-February 2017 to mid-July 2017 (exact dates to be negotiated). Working time: 38 hours/week, flexible working hours.
The work will consist of assisting the Executive Committee and the FYEG Office in implementation of the activity plan. Intern will be involved in organizing FYEG’s activities. The internship will also involve working on FYEG communication and assisting the Greens/EFA group in its political work. The intern will work under supervision of group political advisor in areas according to her/his expertise and background. The tasks might include following legislative process, ad-hoc research and communication, as well as liaising between FYEG and the group.
The intern will receive a monthly allowance of 1000 EUR.
Status of a student with health insurance,
A good knowledge of English (both written and oral),
General knowledge of European politics and strong interest in Green politics,
Good writing and computer skills,
Showing initiative, ability to work independently and under time pressure.
Additional advantages would be:
Knowledge of additional languages (especially Dutch or French),
Civil society involvement, strong commitment to Green values and experience in grassroots activism
Involvement or membership in FYEG Member Organization, green youth organisation or a Green Party,
Project management knowledge and experience would be a strong advantage.
