Call for Campaign Team - Green Base

The Young European Greens are looking for two volunteer Green Base coordinators, who will join our Campaign Team for the EU elections 2024 and be responsible for the coordination of our Green Base, together with the FYEG Community Manager!

The Green Base is a pan-European community of campaigning volunteers that are organised on Discord. All the volunteers will be divided into numerous campaign teams, and each team will have a leader. Team leaders will coordinate a team of between 5 and 20 people, and each team will have a specific action that they implement - this is the goal why a team exists. The Green Base coordinators will play a crucial role in strategising the with campaign team and FYEG partners on the actions needed for a more efficient campaign, and in the coordination of team leaders, and consequently of all FYEG campaign volunteers.

If you have previous experience working with FYEG or are a member of a FYEG member organisation, we want to hear from you! We're looking for people who are enthusiastic, dedicated, and willing to work hard to make a difference. If you have a strong commitment to the principles of the Green movement and are excited about the prospect of working on an innovative and impactful campaign, apply!

You will be required to:

  •  Attend 2 in-person meetings

    • 16-17 December 2023 in Brussels

    • February 2024, tbd

  • Attend regular Green Base coordination online meetings (once a week) and Campaign Team online meetings (once a month) from November 2023 until the elections in June 2024.

You will also get invited to FYEG main campaign events, such as the official campaign launch event in Italy on 1-3 March 2024.

Please note that this is a volunteer position, and you'll be expected to commit a significant amount of your time and energy to the campaign. However, the rewards are immeasurable - not only will you be contributing to a worthy cause, but you'll also have the opportunity to develop your skills and make new friends from across Europe. All of this during the most exciting time for European politics.

If you're interested in joining our campaign team and becoming Green Base coordinator, please express your interest below and then complete part 2 of the application by 15 November at Midnight CET. We look forward to hearing from you!
